LBM Consulting is a local, Sarnia based consulting firm specializing primarily in Employee Benefits. We have access to every insurance carrier in Canada and have the ability to make recommendations to suit each individual client's needs. History
LBM Consulting Ltd. was founded in 2001 by Len MacLachlan, the primary consultant and owner of the company. Prior to that, Len MacLachlan worked as an Employee Benefits consultant employed by a general insurance agency servicing the Sarnia-Lambton area since 1991.
It was in 2001 when Len MacLachlan realized that by learning more about the expectations of the insurance carriers, and by developing and building a relationship with them, he could use these valuable tools to benefit clients and employers. Through market research and developmental meetings, the idea that clients could obtain more affordable Employee Benefits than ever before, emerged.
Shortly thereafter, Len MacLachlan negotiated the business sale and transfer of the Employee Benefits and Life Insurance Divisions from that same general insurance agency that he worked for. This sale and purchase allowed LBM Consulting Ltd. to surface, and begin its own path towards success.
Today, to assure the highest level of customer service, LBM Consulting recently moved to a new, highly accessible location (429 Exmouth Street, Sarnia). Along with this move, two new customer service representatives (CSR's) were added to the team. The new staff is fully trained to provide timely and accurate service, surpassing client's expectations.
